Members of Senior Advisory Board (SAB) are high-level figures from public life with a strong connection to the Balkans and the EU who help promote CEIS activities and outputs and give advice on programming. The SAB also provides strategic guidance to the Board of Directors and facilitates access to resources.

Scientific council

|
Members of the Scientific Council are invited on the basis of their expertise and activities related to the Balkans, to post-conflict peacebuilding, or EU integration. The Scientific Council advises the Board of Directors on the scientific substance of CEIS work. It contributes to formulating the main goals of the CEIS and to assessing its activities, Organization, and development. It also facilitates the collaboration with universities, research institutes and other potential project partners.

International executive committee

The International Executive Committee is the governing body of the CEIS.Its members are designated according to the following key: 4 representatives of the Senior Advisory Board; 2 representatives of Scientific Council; 2 representatives of regular and associate members, to be designated at the first General Assembly; and, as a non-voting observer, the Secretary-General as a representative of the Board of Directors.
